Being Prepared is Your Best Defence
IAPA Pandemic Planning Course for Businesses

Mississauga, Ontario – September 10, 2009 – For the first time in over 40 years, the World Health Organization has declared an influenza pandemic.  Public health officials and infection control experts are predicting the H1N1 virus, which has been mild so far, will make a strong resurgence this fall during the regular flu season, which on average sees 20,000 hospitalizations and 4,000 deaths in Canada each year1.  The need to protect ourselves from becoming ill is more critical than ever and workplaces need to be prepared.

A pandemic may seriously affect your business. Take precautions to limit the impact it could have the health and safety of your employees, the continuity of business operations, and your company’s bottom line.
