As part of IAPA's mission to inform and educate, IAPA has translated the self assessment forms for occupational health and safety that were developed as a joint initiative by the Institut de recherche Robert-Sauvé en santé et en sécurité du travail (IRSST) and the Association paritaire Secteur fabrication du produits en metal et de produits electriques (ASPME).

These self-assessment forms can be used by the employer, supervisor, employees or a health and safety committee. Successful implementation requires collaboration from everyone within the company and are intended to reduce the occurrence of accidents, incidents, work-related illnesses, or equipment breakdown.
