Introduction

The Industrial Accident Prevention Association (IAPA) is a not-for-profit, member-driven organization operating in the Province of Ontario since 1917. Representing more than 50,000 member firms and more than 1.5 million workers, IAPA is Canada’s largest health and safety organization and has taken a leading role in the prevention of workplace injury and illness, working for improvement in the health and safety performance of our member firms.

Hyperlinks used on this or any other IAPA website are provided for the use and convenience of the visitor. The presence of a link on this or any other IAPA web page does not imply endorsement, cooperation, or any relationship whatsoever to the linked site or organization unless expressly stated.

  • IAPA retains the right to remove, edit, or reject all hyperlinks, at our sole discretion.

To Request a Link

IAPA desires to provide links for informational and/or educational purposes. Therefore, web sites with related or complimentary information shall be of primary consideration when reviewing linking requests. All accepted links for the IAPA website are expected to provide a reciprocal link of similar size and placement.

Please read the information below, prior to sending your request. If your site does not meet the criteria, please do not send in a request. The final decision for inclusion is based on whether the IAPA determines that your site has met all of the criteria.

Evaluation Criteria for Sites

  • The primary intent of the website is to educate and inform, rather than persuade, convert, or sell. The site may include advertising but is free from heavy marketing or promotion of products
  • The organization or website content should be provincial, national or international in scope
  • Good design and layout
  • Reasonable download speed
  • Interesting and reliable content
  • Regularly updated content
  • Contains no offensive or illegal material
  • Does not represent a political or "special interest" group
  • The site provides information that falls in one of our subject categories:
    • Health and Safety Network
    • International Sites
    • Small Business Resource Links
    • Young Worker Resource Links
    • Other Relevant Sites
  • The site’s owner or sponsor is easily identifiable, and information on how to contact the owner or sponsor is provided.
