Legislation Overview

This Legislative Compliance Questionnaire is based on key requirements of Ontario’s Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) and Workplace Safety and Insurance Act (WSIA) and related regulations.

The questionnaire does not cover all requirements of such legislation. In addition, the questionnaire contains compliance guidelines that may not reflect the interpretations of the applicable regulatory agencies or the courts in cases of prosecution.

Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA)
OH&S Act sets out minimum health and safety standards for workplaces in Ontario. Employers are required by law to post a copy of the Act in the workplace.
