IAPA Training, Consulting and Products
If your company has 20 or more employees, you must, by law, have a Joint Health
And Safety Committee (JHSC). Legislation also specifies that one worker and one
manager of every JHSC must be trained in the fundamentals of health and safety and
both members must be trained in workplace-specific hazards. This training is known
as Certification Part One and Certification Part Two.
IAPA offers you the most comprehensive health and safety training available in Canada.
To better meet the demands of your budget and time limitations, training is provided
in a number of flexible learning formats, from intensive classroom training to more
focused on-site workshops.
Our training programs are based on real workplace conditions and situations. The
information and materials are always relevant, interesting and applicable, and cover
technical, legislative and general health and safety topics.
At IAPA you have access to a wealth of resources, including over 70 practical products
that target key health and safety issues and topics. All products are created with
input from IAPA's consultants and volunteers, member firms, subject specialists,
governmental organizations and system partners. IAPA products are available in print,
video and computer-based formats to meet your health and safety training requirements.
